Braun Strowman Wants Title vs Title Match With Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania

The WWE Champion always has a target on his back, but this week it seems like current champ Drew McIntyre could face some extremely big challenges.

As we reported earlier, NXT’s double champ Keith Lee wants to face McIntyre. Now, current WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is proposing a Champion vs. Champion match at WrestleMania 37.

Strowman’s challenge comes after McIntyre changed his profile photo and Tweeted at Strowman that he wasn’t going to change his cover photo.

McIntyre’s cover photo happens to show Strowman eating a Claymore Kick during the October 22, 2018 episode of Raw.

Strowman replied to the Tweet by saying he hasn’t forgotten and that he owes McIntyre for that Claymore. He then proposed that the two men have a “title for title” match at WrestleMania.

McIntyre seems amenable to the idea, but that is assuming that both men are still holding their titles come WrestleMania 37.

McIntyre is set to defend his title during Extreme Rules against Dolph Ziggler, while Strowman is set to face his former “mentor” Bray Wyatt in a Swamp Match during the same pay-per-view.
