Braun Strowman Warns Tyson Fury About Facing Drew McIntyre

Braun Strowman took on Tyson Fury back at Crown Jewel in 2019 after the two stars built up quite an interesting match that was eventually won by The Gypsy King. Tyson Fury was recently able to defeat Deontay Wilder in their hotly anticipated match earlier in the year which means that there could be another match set up for the Boxing Champion if he is open to making his return to WWE.

Following Drew McIntyre‘s win over Brock Lesnar back at WrestleMania just over a week ago, McIntyre and Fury looked to begin building a match in WWE, but Braun Strowman recently took part in a Q&A with WWE UK where he revealed the advice he had for McIntyre if he was to step in the ring with The WBO Champion.

“Well, he [Tyson] better learn how to do more than punch, I can tell you that. He got lucky with the one he caught me with when I was standing outside the ropes. Drew McIntyre, like myself, is a completely different trained animal than Tyson Fury has ever stepped in the ring with… he might be in for a world of awakening. I’ve been hit with the Claymore Kick probably more than anybody and I know what it’s capable of. So, the best of luck if he wants to get in there and get his head kicked off. Go ahead and give it a try and see what happens.”

It’s unknown as to whether or not the match with Fury will go ahead or be for the WWE Championship since Seth Rollins attacked the Scottish Star this week on Raw and signaled that he would be his next challenger.

If McIntyre is able to keep hold of his Championship past next month’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view then it will be interesting to see what direction McIntyre is pushed into.
