WWE reports that Superstar Bray Wyatt met with a car accident on Friday and has sustained multiple injuries.
Wyatt was on his way to the airport to fly to the weekend WWE live events. WWE noted that his car was hit head-on in an automobile collision that left his car totaled. Wyatt was treated at Tampa General Hospital and he has since been released.
The injuries compelled Bray to miss the weekend live events he was headed for prior to the accident and was also absent from this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Bray Wyatt is scheduled to team with “Woken” Matt Hardy at Extreme Rules to defend the Raw Tag Team Titles against The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) at Extreme Rules, but that seems unlikely as of now.
TMZ Sports interviewed Wyatt shortly after the news broke. The Eater of Worlds said,
“I’m gonna live through it because I can’t die… I’m moving around”
It appears that Wyatt will be out of action for an extended period of time. Best wishes to Bray for a quick recovery.
