<p><strong>Bret Hart</strong> was <strong>Stone Cold Steve Austin</strong>&#8216;s most recent guest on the Broken Skull Sessions which premiered last night on the WWE Network and it allowed Hart to finally tell his own side of the story when it comes to the Montreal Screwjob.</p>



<p>Hart was able to reveal some interesting swerves concerning the screw job including the fact that he asked referee <strong>Earl Hebner</strong> the day before the screwjob about it and Earl promised that he wouldn&#8217;t, with tears in his eyes. Hart later stated that he thought that <strong>Vince McMahon</strong> had put him between a rock and a hard place just as he was about to go through the curtain and he didn&#8217;t blame Hebner for his part on the controversial match.</p>

<p>Hart was also able to reveal to Austin that he didn&#8217;t actually want to go to WCW, he was happy with his contract in WWE at that time and had even offered to drop the Championship the next night on Raw or to anyone other than <strong>Shawn Michaels</strong>, but obviously this isn&#8217;t the way that McMahon wanted the match to go.</p>



<p>The Hitman also revealed that following the match while he was in the shower, McMahon came into the dressing room and wanted to talk to him, the boss was flanked by <strong>Pat Patterson</strong> and <strong>Shane McMahon</strong> at the time and Hart thought about attacking him while naked but decided against it. Instead, he got changed and then went for McMahon and managed to knock him out clean with an uppercut.</p>



<p>It was an interesting episode of Stone Cold&#8217;s podcast which finished with Hart sharing his thoughts on the man who arguably ended his career, the current Universal Champion <strong>Goldberg</strong>. While Hart has changed his opinion on Vince McMahon over the years, he is yet to change his opinion on the former WCW star since he called him a dangerous wrestler and stated that he has injured every wrestler he has been in the ring with.</p>

I just wish some of the wrestlers I worked with especially in the end like Goldberg — Goldberg to me was one of the most unprofessional wrestlers there was in the business.”</p></blockquote>

You might as well wrestle a real gorilla. He was the most dangerous guy to work with. He hurt everyone he worked with. I remember Curt Hennig being in pain all the time from the matches they had.”</p></blockquote>
