Brian Myers Calls Out WWE for Not Giving a Proper Tribute to Brodie Lee

Only a couple of days ago, the wrestling community was left in tears after they heard their beloved wrestler Brodie Lee has passed away due to a non-Covid-19 related lung issue.

Many WWE wrestlers acknowledged their friend’s passing. Some even narrated stories involving Lee and told how close the wrestler was to them.

WWE Raw began with a graphic that acknowledged Brodie Lee’s death but there was no 10-bell salute or a video package shown to the wrestling fans. This didn’t sit well with the WWE Universe who took to Twitter to raise their voice.

Former WWE wrestler Brian Myers (Curt Hawkins) also called out the company for its lackluster tribute to the late wrestler.

However, Drew McIntyre and Tom Phillips were able to pass in a “you know what that means” reference. Also, Lee’s friend Xavier Woods did a discus clothesline as a tribute.

AEW’s president Tony Khan has revealed that they have changed their plans for this week’s Dynamite and now the entire show will be dedicated to Brodie and his family.
