Brock Lesnar shocked the world when he defeated Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel to reclaim the Championship that he only lost to Roman Reigns back at SummerSlam. Many fans believed that Strowman would be given his first real Championship in Saudi Arabia, but instead, he was handed five F5’s before Lesnar took the title.
Lesnar was reportedly set to move back to UFC after dropping the Championship back in August, but Roman Reigns’ current situation could have seen Lesnar change his mind so that he can now return to WWE and be seen much more frequently than when he was the Champion before.
Following his victory over The Monster Among Men on Friday night, Lesnar has reportedly been pulled from UFC 230 a show that he was originally expected to be part of.
It looks like Dana White has now confirmed what I eluded to early yesterday, that Brock Lesnar will NOT be at #UFC230. Dana wanted Brock to appear but the New York State Athletic Commission put the kibosh on it because they didn’t want another potential Khabib/McGregor incident. https://t.co/yX8YAvC1S9

Brad Shepard went on to state that Dana White’s original plan was for Brock Lesnar to be part of UFC 230 to do another run-in with Daniel Cormier but it was thought that the New York State Athletic Commission was worried that the angle could lead to another Khabib/McGregor incident which has gained a lot of negative feedback over the past few weeks.
It is thought that the fact that Lesnar was in Saudi Arabia yesterday meant that he wouldn’t be part of the show which takes place tonight, but now that he has the Championship once again, it’s likely that his focus could be back on the WWE ring rather than the Octagon.
It will be interesting to see what impact the latest turn of events has on the forthcoming match between Daniel Cormier and Brock Lesnar, who have been tiptoeing around a match inside the cage for the past few months.
