WWE SmackDown Live is moving to Friday Nights on FOX programming this October, and WWE is trying its best to ensure the fans are treated to a wonderful start on the new network. The debut episode of the blue brand is now set to be presented as a 20th Anniversary Special of SmackDown Live.

Several legends are set to return to for the show, and WWE recently added yet another megastar to the list of legends. Brock Lesnar, a SmackDown Live alumni, is set to make a return to the blue brand after three years.

Lesnar started off his career in 2002 on SmackDown, and achieved great success. His appearances on the blue brand in his second run are quite less, with the latest being in 2016 during his feud with Randy Orton.

Brock Lesnar lost his Universal Championship to Seth Rollins at Summerslam, and is rumored to face Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship. With WWE announcing the return of the Beast on SmackDown Live, the speculations seem more likely.

Elsewhere, Lesnar’s former nemesis, Braun Strowman, is rumored to face Seth Rollins at Clash of Champions. Strowman and Rollins had a quick face-off towards the end of Monday Night RAW, which teased a possible feud between the two superstars.

Strowman’s partner from Mixed Match Challenge, Alexa Bliss, spoke to Sportskeeda over a conference call recently. During the conversation, Bliss revealed that she intends to reunite the Team Little Big to take on the IT Couple of WWE, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

“I would love to see Team Little Big return to action. We had a lot of fun doing the Mixed Match challenge and if anyone would be able to come up and face Becky and Seth, it would be us for sure.”

It remains to be seen if the Strowman-Rollins rivalry actually turns to reality next week.
