WWE presents an interesting episode of Monday Night Raw next week as part of The Raw Reunion, something that was announced this past weekend at Extreme Rules. The company is hoping that the return of some old faces will help to boost the ratings and it will allow many storylines heading into SummerSlam to progress.
Brock Lesnar was present at Extreme Rules and then again the night after on Monday Night Raw, which is why it’s a shock that The Beast Incarnate will also be part of this week’s episode of Raw as well. Since Paul Heyman is now at the helm of WWE’s flagship show, it appears that Lesnar is much happier about making WWE appearances.
While a number of names were announced as part of the company’s video packages in recent weeks, there continue to be superstars announcing their involvement in the show, including former five-time Women’s Champion Melina who hasn’t returned to WWE since her departure eight years ago.
The current full list of confirmed superstars is as follows:
Alundra Blayze, Booker T, Christian, D-Von Dudley, DX (Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Sean “X-Pac” Waltman, “Road Dogg” BG James),Eric Bischoff, Gerald Brisco, Hulk Hogan, Hurricane Helms, Jerry Lawler, Jimmy Hart, Kelly Kelly, Kevin Nash, Kurt Angle, Lilian Garcia, Mark Henry, Melina, Mick Foley, Pat Patterson, Ric Flair, Rikishi, Ron Simmons, Santino Marella, Scott Hall, Sgt. Slaughter, Shawn Michaels, Sid Vicious, Steve Austin, Ted DiBiase Sr, The Boogeyman, and The Godfather.
The Rock has been rumored to be in attendance next week at The Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida as well as former Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, but as of writing, neither superstar has been officially confirmed. Jim Ross is the currently only WWE legend to officially deny his invitation to be part of the show.
