Brock Lesnar To Feature In Dream Match For UFC Return

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is apparently still interested in fighting for UFC and it appears that he would be welcomed by a dream match shall he step inside The Octagon again.

President of UFC, Dana White told TMZ on Saturday night (after UFC 225) that Lesnar is very interested in fighting Jon Jones and Jones is interested in fighting TheBeast.

“Jon Jones is very interested in Brock Lesnar and Brock is very interested in Jon Jones,” White said.

However, if Lesnar does plan to step foot inside The Octagon by the end of this year, he would need to enter the USADA testing pool by the June 30, 2018 and then serve out the rest of his PED suspension (6 months) that was issued to him from the drug test failure following his last UFC 200 fight.

Jones is suspended for failing his drug test  from his 2017 fight against Daniel Cormier. The suspension is provisional until USADA makes an official ruling and it seems that could happen pretty soon.

“I’ll end up figuring that out in the next month,” White said. “I don’t know how that’s gonna play out. That’s up to USADA.”

The UFC President also added that there is another big name who could face Lesnar if things don’t work out with Jones.

White also confirmed that Brock Lesnar’s contract with WWE is up at the end of the summer.

It appears that with Lesnar sticking around for WWE SummerSlam in August, WWE might play out the dream match that was earlier planned for the biggest show of summer: Brock Lesnar vs. Booby Lashley in the main event of the show. However, recently it was reported that the company is aiming for a WrestleMania 34 main event rematch featuring Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship.
