Longest reigning WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s status is confirmed for SummerSlam. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer earlier reported that Lesnar was not confirmed for the show with Kurt Angle also announcing on Monday Night RAW that contract negotiations with The Beast have stalled.
Bryan Alvarez has now sent out the following tweet, confirming that Lesnar will be defending the Universal Championship in Brooklyn next month:

At this point, it is still not clear who The Beast will face at SummerSlam. Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley is scheduled for Extreme Rules but as of this writing, the match has not been stated to determine the #1 Contender for the Universal Championship. The original plan was for a 6-Pack Challenge Match to determine Lesnar’s next opponent for SummerSlam but that was changed to materialize the Reigns vs. Lashley match.

Brock Lesnar is also booked for the RAW after SummerSlam show in Brooklyn.
