Brock Lesnar is the current Universal Champion after taking full advantage of the fact that he can cash in his Money in the Bank contract at any time, the former World Champion targeted Seth Rollins following a hard-fought match at Extreme Rules and was able to come out on top.
Lesnar has since only appeared on one episode of Raw since his Universal Championship win at Extreme Rules since he was in attendance to see Seth Rollins win the 10-man Rumble match to crown his new number one contender a few weeks ago.
Lesnar was originally scheduled to be part of The Raw Reunion last week on July 22nd, but interestingly he wasn’t part of the show and even though initial reports suggested that he was backstage. There are just two weeks to go now until SummerSlam and it appears that The Beast will be returning early since he’s scheduled to be part of next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw live from North Little Rock, Arkansas.
WWE is yet to officially confirm that The Beast Incarnate will be part of the penultimate episode of Monday Night Raw ahead of next month’s SummerSlam, but the arena that Raw will emanate from next week has already revealed that The Beast has been added to the show.
Brock Lesnar isn’t currently advertised for the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw ahead of SummerSlam which is live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 5th. This means that the final build-up to Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam could happen next week, even though Paul Heyman will now definitely be on hand to continue the feud in his own unique way.
