It has been speculated over the past few months that Becky Lynch‘s Raw Women’s Championship match against Ronda Rousey could be set to main event this year’s WrestleMania, but Charlotte Flair could be set to be added to the match ahead of time.
Many fans are unhappy with the idea that Charlotte could be added to the match, since Lynch and Rousey are the two women who have pushed this feud forward over the past few months, but Bubba Ray Dudley seems to have found an interesting solution.
The former nine-time Tag Team Champion came up with an interesting scenario as part of a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio.
“Here’s how you make that victory [for Becky Lynch] even bigger and better. You make it an elimination match. Because if it’s one fall and Becky were to beat Charlotte, that’s complete BS. The Universe wants to see Becky Lynch pin Ronda Rousey that’s the only way it’s going to make real sense,” he said via Ringsidenews.
An elimination match between all three women would be a much easier pill for many fans to swallow if Charlotte is indeed added to the match, but there is also a thought that Charlotte could instead be part of the SmackDown Women’s Championship match on The Grandest Stage Of Them All which could well be a multi-woman match.
There are still a few months to go until WrestleMania, which means that there is room for a number of changes off the back of Elimination Chamber and FastLane, so nothing is set in stone yet, but WWE has a lot to work with in the months leading up to WrestleMania 35.
