Carlito made his return to WWE at Royal Rumble last month, after rumors that the former United States Champion should have been part of Raw Legends Night, but pulled out at the last minute. 



Carlito later returned to Raw the following night where he teamed up with Jeff Hardy to pick up the win over Jaxson Ryker and Elias. 



While it has since been reported that Carlito has been handed a tryout as a WWE producer, the former star recently revealed to <a href="https://www.fightful.com/wrestling/carlito-says-he-s-his-own-open-ideas-wwe-and-aew" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Fightful</a> that he&#8217;s on his own and open to wrestling ideas from every promotion. 



<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">&#8220;As of now, I&#8217;m open to whatever kind of idea is out there. I&#8217;m on my own. If a great opportunity comes to go back to WWE, I&#8217;m just open to whatever comes my way.&#8221; </blockquote>



It&#8217;s unclear what Carlito&#8217;s future in WWE looks like at present, but when asked about working with AEW, the former star noted that he would be open to it.

It was believed that Carlito was set to remain with WWE for the foreseeable future, but this now may not be the case. Carlito hasn&#8217;t appeared on WWE TV since that episode of Raw at the beginning of February.

Carlito Open to Ideas From Both WWE and AEW
