Carlito Teases WWE Return of His Former Tag Team Partner Chris Masters

After years of refusing to make his WWE return, Carlito was a surprise entrant in the 2021 Men’s Royal Rumble match on Sunday night.

The former United States Champion has since appeared on Monday Night Raw where it was confirmed that the star had made a permanent return to the company.

Carlito was able to help Jeff Hardy to pick up the victory over Elias and Jaxson Ryker last night on Raw, in his first match on the red brand in more than a decade.

The 41-year-old recently took to Twitter following his return to WWE where he seems to be advocating for the return of his former Tag Team partner The Masterpiece Chris Masters.

The two men teamed together throughout 2006 and even unsuccessfully challenged Kane and The Big Show for the WWE Tag Team Championships in the opening match at WrestleMania 22.

WWE’s Tag Team Division could definitely use the boost of Master’s return, but since Bobby Lashley is currently using his Master lock, how would a return make sense at present?

It’s also worth noting that The Masterpiece was released from WWE back in 2007 which means that he hasn’t stepped foot in a WWE ring in more than 14 years.
