WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander emerged victorious by pinning Kalisto at the WWE Live Event in Anaheim, but it appears fans are more concerned about the spot with Kalisto’s mask than Alexander’s victory.
A few minutes into the match, Kalisto’s mask came off and it was not something that was scripted/planned. The match was stopped briefly for the referee to go over and get the mask for him. Kalisto moved towards the ringside area and then proceeded to put his mask back on.
Alexander received some boos from the live crowd since Southern California has a lot of Kalisto fans but it was clearly an accident.

A similar incident happened on WWE 205 Live when Drew Gulak pulled off Lince Doardo’s mask but that was reportedly planned. Fans speculate this as the beginning of the tease for a Hair vs. Mask match in the Cruiserweight Division. It is to be noted that several weeks ago, TJP made an attempt to take off Dorado’s mask during a match.
