  • Cedric Alexander hit the Lumbar Check to defeat Roderick Strong in the semifinals of the Cruiserweight Championship Tournament on 205 Live. Cedric will now head to face the winner of Mustafa Ali vs. Drew Gulak in the tournament final which is scheduled to take place at The Show of Shows on April 8, live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. After his victory, Alexander fought back his tears saying he earned the opportunity in an interview with Dasha Fuentes. He further added that he has a 4 year old daughter at home who calls him a champion and at WrestleMania he is set to make it official.

 

  • WWE released the new opening video for Monday Night RAW on March 13, 2018. The video is set to Papa Roach’s “Born For Greatness”. This is the second time that WWE has used a Papa Roach number as the theme song for Monday Night RAW. The company previously used the band’s song “To Be Loved” as the RAW theme. The last theme song of Monday Night RAW was Shinedown’s “Enemies”.

 

  • SmackDown Live on March 13 featured a promo of Ms. Money In The Bank, Carmella who went on to declare herself as the winner of the first-ever Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34, calling herself the “Modern Day Moolah”. The Princess of Staten Island defeated Naomi in a singles match on the show and further teased a possible cash-in at this year’s WrestleMania.
