Pete Dunne and Ricochet have had a number of issues over the past few weeks, ever since Dunne saved The One And Only from what could have been an ambush at the hands of The Undisputed Era following his win back in Brooklyn.
Ricochet then thanked Dunne and called him “mate”, but The Bruiserweight then claimed that he wasn’t his mate, he was just another man who wanted the Championship that he currently holds.
Of course, Dunne already holds the United Kingdom Championship and is currently the longest reigning Champion in WWE having held the title since he defeated Tyler Bate in Chicago last May.
Ricochet lifted the North American Championship after he defeated Adam Cole at Takeover: Brooklyn last month and now he appears to have moved into a feud with Dunne.
Dunne and Ricochet teamed up against Undisputed Era a few weeks ago in a losing effort before both men then went on to blame each other for their loss against the Tag Team Champions and their issues have snowballed from there, to the point where they now need to settle their own problems in the ring.
The Undisputed Era has definitely got their hands full with The War Raiders right now, which has left Dunne and Ricochet to fight it out amongst themselves, this could be why a huge first time Champion vs Champion match has been announced for NXT in two weeks.

Neither of the titles is on the line as it appears that bragging rights could be the only thing these men are fighting for, but the chances of this match ending clean with The Undisputed Era lurking are very low.
