Charlotte Flair Believes WWE Women’s Division Doesn’t Need Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey hasn’t stepped into a WWE ring since WrestleMania 35 back in 2019. It was on that night that Rousey and Charlotte Flair came up short against Becky Lynch in the first-ever Women’s WrestleMania main event.

Over the past almost two years, Flair has been one of the faces of the Women’s Division and the woman that WWE has depended on during Rousey’s absence.

At present, there are rumors that Rousey could make her return to WWE at the upcoming Royal Rumble since there were initially rumors that Rousey vs Becky Lynch could be planned for WrestleMania 37.

While there have been several teases regarding Rousey’s return, as part of a pre-Royal Rumble press conference, Charlotte Flair made it clear to Vicente Beltrán that the WWE Women’s Division didn’t need the former UFC Champion.

Despite this, Flair did reveal that she believed that the former Women’s Champion did add something to the division.

At present, The Queen is one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions and could be next in line for a shot at Asuka’s Raw Women’s Championship, so it’s easy to imagine that Flair would be threatened by the return of The Baddest Woman On The Planet.
