For months leading up to WrestleMania this year there were rumors that WWE would allow the women to finally make history on the Grandest Stage of Them All, something that wasn&#8217;t announced until two weeks ago.



Of course, the build up surrounding the match between Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch showed that the women of WWE deserved the chance to make history, but even the superstars involved in the match weren&#8217;t sure that they would be given the chance.

Charlotte Flair recently spoke to <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/cbssportscom/in-this-corner-with-brian-campbell/e/58769890?autoplay=true" target="_blank">State Of Combat Podcast</a> where she revealed that despite it being reported that she was told she would be main eventing back in December, she only recently learnt that she would be part of history.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Eve Torres Set To Be In Town For WrestleMania 35</h2>



Eve Torres is an ambassador for WWE which means she&#8217;s present for a number of events lead by the company throughout the year, but it appears that her presence in New York ahead of WrestleMania 35 has caused quite a stir.

The former Divas Champion is still in fantastic physical condition and since WWE has used a lot of women on the WrestleMania card in the Women&#8217;s Tag Team Championship match and main event, there could be a struggle to find bodies for the Women&#8217;s Battle Royal.

It would certainly be interesting to see a few legends mixed into the match once again.
