Charlotte Flair has only been on WWE’s main roster for five years, but the 11-time Women’s Champion has already had a Hall of Fame level career.
Flair doesn’t have a lot left to achieve in a wrestling ring, but as part of a recent conference call, the NXT Women’s Champion revealed that she still has one match to mark off her list.
Flair told TalkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy that she would love a match against WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix. Of course, Phoenix currently works on commentary on NXT, which means that it would be easy for the company to set up this match if Phoenix was to agree to it.
The Glamazon wouldn’t be the first Hall of Famer to occupy the ring with Flair since The Queen was able to win the battle of eras back at SummerSlam last year when she defeated Trish Stratus.
It was a match that saw the two stand out women in WWE history going head to head and Flair proved that she had the edge.
It’s unknown as to whether or not Phoenix would be open to a singles match with Flair, but The Queen looks to be laying down the groundwork for a potential showdown.
