Chris Jericho Announces The Signing of Two Stars to AEW

All Elite Wrestling is on a signing spree lately despite the lockdown and inability to run full-capacity shows. AEW made two major signings this week, with indie star Eddie Kingston and former WWE star Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) joining the AEW roster.

Chris Jericho’s Saturday Night Special saw the announcement of two more new signings, with the former AEW Champion officially welcoming Alex Reynolds and John Silver to the AEW roster.

Both the stars have been aligned with The Dark Order for the last few months, and have been a part of several beat-downs along with Stu Grayson, Brodie Lee and Evil Uno.

Silver and Reynolds have wrestled together for a long time, wrestling as The Beaver Boys, before making it to AEW programming.

“I gotta hand it to John Silver and Alex Reynolds, who also signed their contracts this week. Their first national contracts after 14 years. They deserved it, too. They did do some great work, they have a great match coming up [in] the following week. So, I love seeing that.”

Silver and Reynolds attacked Cody after his match against Warhorse last week, which led to the introduction of Cardona on Dynamite. The duo will not take on Cody and Cardona next week on Dynamite.

Chris Jericho also announced the arrival of Taynara Conti to AEW, when he revealed her to be Anna Jay’s partner for the upcoming AEW Women’s Tag Team Tournament. The Brazilian star will team up with Jay to take on Nyla Rose and Cameron in the first round.
