Chris Jericho-led Inner Circle is all set to compete in the first-ever Blood and Guts match next week on AEW Dynamite.



The former AEW Champion appeared on Wrestling Observer Radio and spoke about the upcoming match, whose booking was largely done by Jericho himself. 



Jericho initially thought about Blood and Guts as the final encounter between the two teams, but later changed plans. He revealed that the show will actually be the start of several long-term storylines, which means we won&#8217;t see the last of MJF v Chris Jericho.

I’m really excited about the ideas and the planning.”</blockquote>



AEW is often given props for their dedication for long-term storytelling, which is often pointed out as a shortcoming in WWE.



Jericho is working to ensure they continue this trend, with the two teams having several inner rivalries of their own. MJF vs Chris Jericho is a famous battle, Jake Hager and Wardlow are always at crossroads, while FTR and Santana/Ortiz continue to diss each other.
