CM Punk on a Possible Match With Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37: “I’d Do Opening Match”

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk was recently asked by a fan about having a possible WrestleMania 37 main-event match.

The retired wrestler responded to the tweet, taking a jab at WrestleMania’s lengthy run time and said that the “show is 67 hours long”.

Punk last wrestled for WWE in 2014, his last match happening at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Since then, Punk has always told the fans he’s never going to return but in the last few months, it seems the former UFC fighter has been open to wrestling once again.

In the past, Punk has said that if the money is right, he’ll definitely consider returning to the squared circle once again.

Only time will tell if we are ever going to witness a CM Punk match, that too in the main event of WrestleMania.

On the other hand, Roman Reigns is currently the WWE Universal Champion and doesn’t have an opponent slated for next year’s WrestleMania.

It’s been rumored that The Rock could return to face his cousin at the Grandest Stage of Them All, but the match doesn’t seem likely to happen anytime soon.
