CM Punk has been quite vocal on WWE Backstage and fans are in awe of his new avatar on WWE programming. Punk’s raw comments have ruffled the feathers of various Superstars; The Voice of The Voiceless is on a mission to “change the culture.”
This week on the FS1 talk show, Punk discussed the potential of the ongoing Rusev-Bobby Lashley-Lana storyline. The Second City Savior laid down a decent plan that will unite The Bulgarian Brute and The Almighty and frame The Ravishing Russian as the obvious ‘loser’.
“They have a match, they have a blow-off. I don’t think Rusev wants to be involved with Lana anymore on-screen. So, Lana and Bobby go off and do their thing, but Lana grinds on the nerves, Bobby is sick of her. He leaves Lana too, they have another divorce. She gets another tag team to go after Bobby and Rusev, who have become best friends because they have the familiar: the ex-wife.”
Lashley and Rusev will collide in a Tables match this Sunday at WWE’s final pay-per-view of the decade, TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs.
“This new tag team with Lana in tow go after them. What they do at WrestleMania, they put Lana in a shark cage because by WrestleMania the new tag team is already so sick of Lana that the loser of the match gets what’s in the shark cage.”
On the latest episode of RAW, Rusev and Lana signed their divorce papers in front of the Greenville crowd. Fans are now excited to see what lies in store for all three individuals after the showdown on Sunday.
WWE pairing up Rusev and Lashley is a no-doubt stupendous strategy to advance the progress of the tag team division on the red brand. With a babyface Lana as their manager, the company would largely benefit from the highly talented trio.
