It appears that the CM Punk vs. Dr. Chris Amann legal case might be coming to an end sooner than expected.
Pro Wrestling Sheet reported last week that things between the two parties have recently changed although both sides happened to initiate last-minute settlement talks earlier.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Punk’s side is heavier in wanting the case to go to trial indicating that the jury will likely rule on his side. Moreover, the stakes are high for The Second City Saint as he is likely taking caring of his own legal fees while rumors indicate that Amann’s legal fees are being borne by WWE.
A source close to Punk said, ““the defense (Punk’s side) has worked long and hard on building a case for trial. Anything is possible but the defense is ready and prepared for a jury trial.”
