CM Punk Takes Shot At All Elite Wrestling, Asks “What The F*ck Is AEW?”

CM Punk was recently involved in an interesting conversation in Twitter, where he appeared to be taking a shot at All Elite Wrestling. Punk was replying to ROH wrestler Marty Scurll when he said he is not aware of the new promotion.

Scurll posted a short video on Twitter which showed him and his partner Brody King meeting AEW Superstar Joey ‘Bad Boy’ Janela. In the video, Scurll offers Janela, a spot in their stable ‘Villain Enterprises’ but Janela states that he is signed with AEW.

Scurll responds by asking “What the f*ck is AEW”. This is when CM Punk added himself to the conversation by replying to Scurll while taking a little jab at the new promotion.

AEW successfully debuted their first pay-per-view, Double or Nothing, last month, which also saw the shocking debut of Jon Moxley. Punk was heavily rumored to show up at the event but, to much disappoint of the fans, he was nowhere to be seen.

With the announcement of AEW’s new shows, Fyter Fest and All Out, speculations are still ripe about CM Punk showing up at one of these events. Even though there are rumors about negotiations between AEW and Punk, there is no word yet from either of the parties.

Fans keep asking Punk all the time whether he is joining AEW and this seems to have annoyed him. Janela replied to Punk to add fuel to the fire by asking him the same question and you can see below how that turned out.

It is very much possible that Punk is working his fans by keeping his appearance as a secret, for the ‘shock factor’, or he is genuinely not interested in returning to active wrestling. We just have to wait and see.
