It is being reported that Cody Hall, son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall, had signed a deal with MLW but is already on his way out of the company.
Hall’s MLW signing was first reported by Wrestling Inc. According to the initial reports, Hall had signed with MLW in early October.
However, follow-up reports from POST Wrestling found that Hall may have indeed been signed, but he was not part of MLW’s plans moving forward and he is already leaving the company.
There have been no confirmed reports as to why Hall is leaving the company so shortly after signing, but there is reportedly “no animosity” from MLW towards Hall.
Hall began training to become a professional wrestler in 2010. He is mostly known for his work with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) where he wrestled from 2015 to 2017.
During Hall’s tenure with NJPW, he was part of the popular faction, the Bullet Club. Hall was part of the Bullet Club just before current AEW Tag Team Champions and EVPs, The Young Bucks left the faction and he served as their enforcer till they left.
Hall has also worked with Pro Wrestling NOAH and with DDT Pro-Wrestling.
