This week’s episode of RAW was both opened and closed by The Shield when they were part of two separate brawls with the WWE locker room.
Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns were attacked both times by many members of the RAW roster and Baron Corbin made the decision to have the three men arrested for their part in the brawl that kicked off the show.
Mike Rome later updated the WWE Universe to tell them that The Shield had been arrested, processed and met in front of a judge before being released but WWE obviously forgot that RAW took place on Labor Day this week and many fans pulled the company up on the fact that this would have been damn near impossible to do.
Luckily, Corey Graves was able to step in and show the WWE Universe that The Shield has some connections of their own and they were able to call them in to help them get out of custody early.
David Otunga has remained contracted to WWE for a number of years despite not being an active part of the show regularly, but now the WWE Universe know why the former Tag Team Champion has been able to hold on to his job for so long.
Made a few calls this morning. Turns out @DavidOtunga has a judge friend in Columbus and called in a late night Labor Day favor for The Shield.

Sadly, this didn’t go to plan since Rollins, Reigns, and Ambrose were the victims of another attack by the locker room which this time included Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. The Shield were left lying at the end of this week’s RAW and The Monster Among Men then celebrated with the new Tag Team Champions before later warning The Shield that the worst is still yet to come.
