Ever since his return to the world’s biggest wrestling promotion back in 2012, WWE has repeatedly used Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s UFC past in every storyline that features The Beast.
However, things have gotten more intense in the WWE ever since Lesnar showed up at UFC 226 and Dana White later made it official that UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier will be defending his title against Lesnar anytime after early January, 2019.
Meanwhile, the Creative has made Roman Reigns do everything possible to use Lesnar’s possible UFC return against The Beast himself and thereby get fans finally cheer for The Big Dog.
This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW was no different as Reigns once again got on the mic to get the fans behind him. During his promo, Reigns said that he was going to send Lesnar “so far back into the UFC that he’s going to find his head stuck in Dana White’s ass.”
UFC President Dana White, who is always cool and calm, took a jive and responded to the promo on Twitter.

As of this writing, Lesnar has already been tested a few times in the USADA testing pool and if things go fine, The Beast will be eligible to compete inside The Octagon after early January, 2019.
Pro-wrestling fans are speculating that Lesnar might not be closing the door on WWE completely. The Beast had teased a return to UFC during the WrestleMania 34 weekend, only to sign a new WWE deal for more dough.
It’s possible that the WWE Universal Champion is using his return to UFC as a leverage to get a better deal with WWE. The last date that Lesnar is advertised for in WWE is RAW after SummerSlam.
WWE’s plan to cement Reigns as the company’s next face and top guy miserably failed at WrestleMania 34 as the company played with the emotions of the crowd while Lesnar signed a new deal on the day of the event.
As much as fans boo for The Big Dog, the fact that the WWE Universe wants a full-time Universal Champion is true, which is why Roman also has his share of fans who cheer for him week after week.
SummerSlam will mark the fourth championship encounter between Lesnar and Reigns. Despite being the longest reigning Universal Champion for over a year now, The Beast has stacked up only a handful of title defenses.
Brock Lesnar will defend the WWE Universal Championship on August 19, 2018 at SummerSlam. The pay-per-view event will emanate from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
