UFC announced the signing of three more fighters to their roster after the conclusion of Contender Series 33.
The MMA promotion has been signing quite a few fighters during the Contender series this season, and the spree continued with three interesting signings this week.
Middleweight Jordan Williams, Featherweight Collin Anglin and Women’s Featherweight Danyelle Wolf were the three names added to the company’s payroll this week.
Williams had a convincing first-round victory in the latest Contender event, which moved him to a 9-3 MMA record. Williams had a long tenure with Bellator MMA before his switch to UFC.
Anglin had a hard-fought victory against Muhammadjon Naimov, while Wolf made her MMA debut on this week’s Contender event.
Wolf has wrestled in over forty pro boxing encounters but had no prior experience in the MMA business.
The decision to bring in Wolf was met with great criticism online, as the 37-year old’s lack of experience combined with her dubious win against Taniesha Tennant at Contender event didn’t fare well with the fanbase.
