Daniel Bryan was recently interviewed by Gorilla Position where he once again proved why he is one of the never-hold-back and brutally honest Superstar outside WWE.
Among several things, Bryan was asked about a possible WrestleMania match with The Miz. The American Dragon and The A-Lister have a history that dates back to Bryan’s debut in the company as a Miz rookie during the NXT reality show days. Even on the main roster after Bryan became the General Manager SmackDown Live, he had a heated rivalry with The Miz.
After returning to action at WrestleMania 34, the WWE Universe have been longing to see Bryan square off against the 8-time WWE Intercontinental Champion in what has been considered as one of the most intense rivalries in recent times.
Bryan said, “I am definitely up for it. You ask me that question, I will answer it with a question. Do you trust WWE with telling that story from now until WrestleMania 35? What in the last several years has shown to you that something like that is possible here?”
He went on, “I think that would be awesome. I think it would be something that the fans would be excited to see. Whether or not we can prolong because people want to see me punch Miz in the face. I want to punch Miz in the face. Whether we can prolong that on television for that period of time, I don’t know.”
