Daniel Bryan’s current WWE contract is just about to expire as we are about to bid goodbye to August on the calendar.
All talks backstage suggest that Bryan will be very much staying in WWE and so far there’s “no chance in hell” that the former WWE Champion will be leaving for some other rival promotion.
Bryan publicly revealed that the reason why his contract talks have been so lengthy is because of the fact that unlike previous negotiations/talks, this time he had hired a lawyer, something that most Superstars in the company never do. Bryan has also been eyeing a light working schedule going forward in WWE.
The American Dragon recently took to Twitter to share a post that has driven pro wrestling fans crazy. Bryan posted a photo and wrote:
“Hmmm… maybe I am too small to be in WWE? ”

The former SmackDown Live Manager returned to in-ring action at WrestleMania 34 for the first time in 3 years after he was forced to retire from pro-wrestling due to a career-ending injury in 2016.
At this point, Bryan is advertised for September’s Hell In A Cell pay-per-view where he will be teaming with his wife Brie Bella to take on real-life couple The Miz and Maryse.
Bryan went 1-on-1 with The Miz at SummerSlam where he lost via pinfall owing to a “nasty” finish.
Even if he doesn’t ink a deal with Vince McMahon’s promotion on the next day after his current contract expires, Bryan has said of continuing under the terms and conditions of his current WWE contract until a new deal is finalized.
