Longest reigning former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is eyeing a return to The Octagon.

Lesnar re-entered the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) drug testing pool this summer and has already been tested a few times. If The Beast manages to deliver clean testing for three months, he will be cleared to fight in the UFC anytime after early January, 2019.

Cormier fired yet another shot following The Beast’s loss at SummerSlam. The reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion mentioned that Lesnar looks a lot “smaller” nowadays, which is a clear reference to the fact that that Brock has re-entered the USADA testing pool. The WWE Universe also had the same opinion a few weeks ago when Lesnar attacked Paul Heyman on RAW.

UFC President Dana White has publicly announced that Lesnar is scheduled to challenge UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. Lesnar appeared at UFC 226 and shoved the newly-crowned champion Cormier thus kicking things off between them.

However, recently “DC” has been verbally taking shots at The Beast through social media and public interviews/ appearances.

Lesnar’s Universal Championship reign came to an end at SummerSlam when he was speared and pinned by arch rival Roman Reigns in what stood as the fourth championship encounter between the two men.

Lesnar was advertised for RAW After SummerSlam but RAW General Manager Kurt Angle turned down “Advocate” Paul Heyman’s rematch clause request saying, “Not anytime soon.” This might be a clear indication that Lesnar might not be headed for WWE, at least in the remaining 4 months of 2018. There’s still no word on Brock’s current status with WWE.
