Daniel Cormier Wants Advice From Booker T, Willing to Go on Hall of Fame Podcast

A feud is brewing on social media between ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.

This all started when Cormier talked about how he would like to enter the WWE as a commentator before eventually having a match with Roman Reigns and going on to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Booker T heard about what Cormier said and criticized him for “booking his own angle” before even signing with WWE. He also offered to catch Cormier “at Starbucks” where he would give him “the rub.”

Helwani took Cormier’s side, stating that “his guy DC” can do whatever he wants. He added that he had admired and loved Booker T in his Harlem Heat days but that Booker should show some “respect for the double champ.”

Helwani then discussed it with Cormier during their “DC and Helwani” show and Cormier admitted that he does have a problem with “breaking kayfabe because he becomes a fan again”.

He also said he would love to get some advice from Booker and was willing to go on Booker’s Hall of Fame podcast.
