Dash Wilder comments on their rumored release request and winning the RAW tag titles

The Revival defended the RAW Tag Team Championship for the first time at Fastlane against former champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, and recent NXT call-ups Aleister Black and Ricochet.

During a recent interview with The Mirror, Dash Wilder talked about The Revival’s current goal and touched on their release story.

“Ah, man. Where do I begin?! I feel like our work is just beginning now. We feel that winning the championship means nothing, it’s about what we do with them while we have them, and what we do to elevate their standing in the company. It’s about what we do with the rest of the division to elevate it, and make everybody reach their potential”

Wilder and Scott Dawson were constantly overlooked in WWE since their main roster debut in 2017. The duo eventually requested for their release in January and WWE crowned them the new RAW tag team champs soon after.

“I won’t touch on it too much, but what I will say is that it was lost in translation. There were some things that got out there that I don’t think people knew the full story about,” said Wilder. “I don’t think it aggravated us, it kind of gave us… again, we like to be angry. We like to be mad at things and have something to fight for. So that gave us more fuel for the fire and we were like… ‘we’ll have fun with the internet over that, as they don’t know what’s what, so we’re not going to tell them otherwise.’”

Roman Reigns pulled from next week’s episode of RAW?

Roman Reigns has apparently been pulled from next week’s Monday Night RAW in Rosemont, Illinois.

During this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, advertisements in Chicago featured The Big Dog for Monday’s RAW.

However, per the Allstate Arena website, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will battle Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin in the dark main event along with WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Finn Bálor.

It appears Reigns is no longer part of the show despite being advertised initially.

Reigns was attacked by Drew McIntyre this week on RAW before their scheduled match and Reigns had to be helped to the back by Rollins and a few referees.
