DDP Not Signing With AEW
WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page isn’t hooking up with All Elite Wrestling anytime soon.
During a recent appearance on What A Rush podcast, DDP revealed that he isn’t willing to risk his healthy relationship with WWE and although he supports Cody Rhodes, he has no intention to sign with AEW.
“Cody sent me a text. He said, ‘Do ya got one more Diamond Cutter in ya?’ I said, ‘Yeah, for you.’ WWE I always got one for too, but you know I think I’ve run out of them there because they’ve given me a lot toward the end of my career. Cody, because like again, he’s like my nephew. I’ve been with him and raising him with Dusty wasn’t and just being a mentor to him and I love what he’s doing man.”
“I know what a lot of people are saying, ‘Are you gonna be a part of AEW? I’m like, ‘Not really, no.’ I’d rather be on the outside on the inside. I don’t want anything from it.”
“You know WWE’s treated me really good. I get to wear all my own sh*t. You know DDP Yoga stuff. They put up whatever I put up you know if I put up, like right now there’s a 2k19 promo that me and Xavier Woods did at my house that’s hysterical and they took it and they put it out there. So I want to keep my relationship with WWE. It’s for my business, you know?”

Dean Ambrose Turns Babyface
At Saturday’s WWE live event, Dean Ambrose turned babyface when he battled Drew McInytre, Finn Bálor and Bobby Lashley in a Fatal 4-Way match to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship. Lashley retained the title by pinning Ambrose.
Ambrose replaced Seth Rollins in that match. The Kingslayer is dealing with an injury that would prevent him from getting physical for a month.
Maybe WWE turned The Moral Compass babyface in hopes of getting him to stay after WrestleMania 35. As reported earlier, Ambrose turned down a million-dollar WWE deal and is officially set to leave the company on expiry of his contract in April.
Backup Plan For WrestleMania 35 In Case Of Snowfall
WrestleMania 35 takes place on April 7, 2019 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, US.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed WWE’s backup plan in case it snows during WrestleMania.
“They’re gonna go on with the show just like an NFL game. I mean Vince has talked about it. The NFL plays in blizzards. There probably won’t be a blizzard in April. It could be really cold, it could possibly snow, probably not but it’s possible.”
“When you run an outdoor show there’s always the risk of an outdoor show. I mean that’s just how it is no matter what. So that’s why a lot of people don’t wanna do outdoor shows unless it’s like you know in LA or Las Vegas or something it’s not as much of a risk. In a lot of parts of the country it’s a big risk.”
