Deonna Purrazzo Becomes Two-Time Knockouts Champion

Deonna Purrazzo successfully reclaimed the Knockouts Championship from Su Yung at Impact Turning Point.

The Knockouts Championship match was a No DQ match that Purrazzo was able to win by pinning Yung after hitting a cradle piledriver.

Purrazzo is now a two-time Knockouts Champion. She had initially won the title back at Slammiversary by defeating Jordynne Grace. This occurred only a month after she signed with Impact after getting released by WWE back in April.

Purrazzo’s first title reign lasted 98 days. During her first reign, she was part of the first Iron Woman match in Impact history at Emergence in August. She was able to defend the title from Grace.

Purrazzo’s first championship reign came to an end during last month’s Bound for Glory. She was initially supposed to defend against Kylie Rae, but when Rae no-showed, Yung stepped in as the last minute replacement.

Yung was able to defeat Purrazzo at Bound for Glory to become Knockouts Champion for the first time. It had been her second attempt to get the championship off Purrazzo as the two had initially clashed for the Knockouts Championship at Victory Road in October.
