Drew McIntyre Comments On Being Left Off The SummerSlam Card, Samoa Joe Reveals Three Questions He Wish People Would Stop Asking

Drew McIntyre is not scheduled to have a match at the SummerSlam pay-per-view, and he’s not happy about it.

“It’s a little frustrating, but the truth is, the thing I’ve learned is patience,” said McIntyre in an interview with Cathy Kelley.

McIntyre has been featured quite heavily on WWE TV the past few months, so it is rather surprising that he hasn’t been booked into a SummerSlam match.

According to McIntyre, he quite enjoys being a WWE Superstar, including making media appearances. He also mentioned, rather diplomatically, that it’s a good thing not to be featured all of the time.

Despite that, however, he ended the interview with a rather heelish warning to the WWE and other Superstars.

“Give me a match or I’m gonna beat somebody up. I can’t guarantee it’ll be on camera. I’m just gonna beat somebody up,” said McIntyre.

McIntyre has been an ally and enforcer for Shane McMahon for several months now and been clashing with Kevin Owens as a result. Given as McMahon and Owens do have a SummerSlam match, it could be that McIntyre will spend SummerSlam getting involved in that match somehow.

Samoa Joe Reveals The Most Annoying Media Questions

Another WWE Superstar who has been making the media rounds for SummerSlam is Samoa Joe. While Joe has been sitting for interviews, it seems like they might not be his favorite thing about being a WWE Superstar.

According to Joe, the most annoying questions he has had to answer are:

  1. What is your dream match? A question he’s never given a straight answer to because it’s such an annoying question?
  2. Tell me how you started out? To which Joe responds that people should go to Wikipedia.
  3. Who do you look up to? Joe’s answer is “himself”
