<p><strong>Drew McIntyre</strong> became The Chosen One on WWE TV after <strong>Vince McMahon</strong> shockingly endorsed him as a future World Champion on an episode of RAW. This move definitely kick-started his career. but as part of a recent appearance on the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="After The Bell podcast (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.endeavoraudio.com/podcasts/wwe-podcasts/after-the-bell" target="_blank">After The Bell podcast</a> with SmackDown commentator Corey Graves, McIntyre revealed that he was unaware of what McMahon was going to say until he said it and he was then told to just react to his praise.</p>

That’s not something that I knew was going to happen. I was just in Gorilla [Position] and I was aware I had a promo and they told me Vince was gonna say ‘a quick thing’ and I’ll just go out and react. I was like, ‘Okay.&#8217;”</p></blockquote>

When it happens, it could be true when it happens he was right like he always is.”</p></blockquote>

<p>Things have obviously changed since then for McIntyre, who is now one of the favorites to win the upcoming men&#8217;s Royal Rumble match after turning face on Monday Night RAW in recent weeks and becoming an instant crowd favorite.</p>
