Drew McIntyre won the WWE Championship earlier this year and has been on a roll so far, taking out Dolph Ziggler and Randy Orton in his feuds.
McIntyre has proved that he is a fighting champion, and is always looking for new challenges. During the New York Comic Con virtual panel, the WWE Champion revealed who he wants to see come to RAW as part of the draft.
McIntyre felt that Sheamus would be a worthy opponent for his title, and the duo has some personal history as well. Braun Strowman was another opponent that McIntyre would love to take down on the red brand.
“I’d be a bit curious if Sheamus and I end up on the same show. We’ve known each other since I was 19 and he was about 47 [laughs] and he’s been there through all the ups and downs of my life.” said Drew.
“If you check out the 24 special on myself and my career, it’ll kind of take you through the story. You’ll see how important Sheamus has been to my life and career. I think if we get the opportunity to do something pretty special. I want Braun Strowman as well. He’s a big man, I want to give him a big beating.”
Sheamus and Strowman are both heels currently, and could the former World Champions make for excellent feuds for the Scottish Psychopath. McIntyre has to first defend his title against Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell.
