DX To Reunite For Upcoming Madison Square Garden WWE Live Event

Madison Square Garden has always been the home of WWE and last time the company traveled to the arena, Andrade was able to capture the United States Championship from Rey Mysterio in one of the biggest shocks of the night on Boxing Day.

The company returns to MSG on the Road To WrestleMania on March 22 and while a stacked show has already been announced, it was revealed today that the show would now also include the reunion of D-Generation X. Members Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, Triple H, and Road Dogg will all be in attendance for the show but it’s unknown if the four men will be wrestling or just there for another comedic sketch.

Billy Gunn is an obvious missing piece in the D-Generation X puzzle but he is now part of All Elite Wrestling so isn’t expected to be on the show, the last time he was seen in a WWE ring was as part of the Hall of Fame ceremony back in April last year when Triple H made a comment about AEW being a “piss-ant company” which didn’t go down too well.

Despite Gunn not being part of the D-Generation X reunion, WWE still seems to be pulling out all the stops for this MSG show since the matches already announced include a Six-Man Tag Match that sees Seth Rollins and The Authors of Pain up against Samoa Joe, Big Show and Kevin Owens. Asuka takes on Becky Lynch which means that their feud will extend past the Royal Rumble.

The likes of Rey Mysterio, United States Champion Andrade, Drew McIntyre, Rusev, Bobby Lashley, Ricochet, The Street Profits, Charlotte Flair, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and Aleister Black are all scheduled to appear on the night, with many more matches expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
