Edge gave an interview with ComicBook.com, where he talked about recovering from torn triceps surgery. According to Edge, while he’s not sure when he will be able to return to the ring, he will return. A torn triceps injury usually means a superstar is out for 4 to 8 months.

“I’ve always been happy with the fact that I rebound from injuries pretty quickly,” noted Edge. “I got back from a torn Achilles in six months which is kind of stupid.”

He did note, however, that he’s now in his 40s so he doesn’t really know how fast his body can recover.

“One thing I have learned is rather than rushing back I need to listen to my body and I need to listen to my body more I think,” said Edge.

He went on to say that he had been feeling some soreness in his arm going into his Backlash match with Randy Orton but hadn’t thought much of it. His doctor told him that there was a good chance it had been partially torn before the match.

When he does return, he is eager to face some of the newer wrestlers on NXT and members of the main roster who he hasn’t share the ring with before.

“I look at Finn Balor, I’d love to get in there with him, Damien Priest, Keith Lee, Johnny Gargano, Ciampa, there’s so much talent down there. I’d love to show up at a TakeOver,” said Edge.

He also named Aleister Black, Andrade, Angel Garza, Richochet, Cedric Alexander, and the Viking Raiders as people he would like to face on Raw. For SmackDown, he mentioned Seth Rollins as a match that “has got to happen” and Sheamus as someone he would like to face again.

He also noted he would like to face AJ Styles, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, and the current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
