Roman Reigns had a relatively easy night at Elimination Chamber since the Universal Champion was able to await his challenger following the Elimination Chamber match.
After starting out the match alongside Cesaro, Daniel Bryan was the man who came out on top when he pinned Jey Uso to become the number one contender to the Universal Championship.
Bryan was barely able to stand following his bout inside the steel structure, which is why Reigns was gifted an easy title defense that saw him put Bryan to sleep with the guillotine.
After the match, Reigns looked to celebrate his victory over one of WWE’s biggest stars before he was speared by The Rated R Superstar.
This was revenge for the spear that Reigns handed Edge on Friday night, and it was after their collision that the former 11-time World Champion pointed at the WrestleMania sign.
It appears that this is Edge making his choice to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in less than eight weeks’ time.
This makes sense since Roman Reigns and Edge have had several showdowns in recent weeks and teased a WrestleMania match much harder than the likes of Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor.
