Finlay & Hornswoggle’s Royal Rumble Cameos
Finlay and Hornswoggle made surprise appearances during the Women’s Royal Rumble match in Chase Field on Sunday.
Hornswoggle popped out from beneath the ring and pursued Zelina Vega who was a participant in the women’s match but decided to hide under the ring for the most part.
Finlay, who currently works as a backstage producer in WWE, showed up to inpsect Lana’s injury and received huge pop for allowing Becky Lynch to take the Russian’s spot in the Rumble.
Fan Forced To Take Off AEW Merch
WWE seems to be hell-bent on keeping All Elite Wrestling at bay.
During Royal Rumble Axxess, fans were instructed to tilt up their AEW hats/caps in snaps with Superstars.
Later during the lengthy Royal Rumble show, a certain fan was told to take off his AEW t-shirt.
Maybe this is what Triple H meant when he talked about monitoring everything.
Dash Wilder Teases Goodbye
Scott Dawson of The Revival teamed up with AOP’s Rezar to take on RAW Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable during the Royal Rumble kickoff show. Dash Wilder was present at ringside.
Roode and Gable retained their titles without much pop from the crowd.
Following the match, Wilder took to Twitter and posted a cryptic emoji that essentially means goodbye.
Are The Revival finally leaving WWE for All Elite Wrestling?
On PW Insider Elite audio, Mike Johnson discussed WWE Chronicle: Paige and talked about the heart-wrenching moment when Paige was informed about her career-ending injury.
“There is some heart-wrenching footage in here like when she comes out of the meeting — it’s never stated, but it’s Dr. Joseph Maroon in Pittsburgh where she is told that she has spinal stenosis. There is no fluid in between two of the joints in her neck, that’s why she got injured and lost all feeling in her arms and legs wrestling Sasha Banks.”
