First Ever ‘Last Woman Standing’ Match Announced For WWE Evolution

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair collided on SmackDown Live last night over the Women’s Championship and once again the two women couldn’t be contained inside a match with traditional rules.

The match ended with Charlotte spearing Lynch through the titantron on the stage before she then showed that she had come off much worse in the collision, but the Championship didn’t change hands.

These two women were once the best of friends but the former Four Horsewomen of NXT went their separate ways at SummerSlam when Lynch decided that she had enough of Charlotte and the fact that she was being overlooked because of The Queen.

Lynch won the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Hell in a Cell when she defeated Flair and has since rubbed it in her face, but has lowered herself to nefarious means in order to keep hold of the title since she was disqualified at Super Show-Down and last night’s match ended in a double count out.

It was later announced that the two women would collide in the first ever Last Woman Standing match at WWE Evolution on October 28th.

This comes off the heels of the match between Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship being announced as well as Trish Stratus and Lita being changed into a tag team match against Alexa Bliss and Mickie James rather than to singles matches.

Lynch reportedly suffered a cracked jaw in her match against Charlotte back at Super Show-Down, whilst Charlotte was injured as part of their match last night on SmackDown Live, so it will be interesting to see what shape the two women will be in on October 28th as this fierce rivalry continues.
