Former UFC star and current WWE NXT signee Matt Riddle has finally made his in-ring debut.
Riddle appeared during an NXT house show held in Sanford, Florida on September 22. He faced off against Fabian Aichner.
Riddle, who came down to the ring wearing flip-flops but wrestled barefoot, defeated Aichner. Check out this gif from a fan to see the finish:

Riddle, who is nicknamed the “King of Bros” was introduced as the newest NXT superstar during a segment at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV just last month.
Riddle has a mixed martial arts record of 13 fights and eight wins. He left mixed martial arts in 2014, in rather bad terms with his former boss Dana White. He then turned to professional wrestling and quickly began making a name for himself in the independent scene.
Riddle became an Evolve Champion, a WWN Champion, a two-time Progress Atlas Champion, and held the World Tag Team Championship at Pro Wrestling Guerilla. He signed with the WWE this summer and began training with NXT.

Now that Riddle has officially made his in ring debut in NXT, rumor has it that his first serious program will be against another Indy veteran, Kassius Ohno.
Also debuting at the Sanford show was another relative newcomer, Stacey Ervin Jr. Ervin is a former gymnast who was signed by WWE NXT last May.
