Former WWE Champion and MMA Star, CM Punk will be making his UFC return at UFC 225 against Mike Johnson on June 9, 2018.
CM Punk is considered to be the longest reigning WWE Champion of the New Era with a record reign of 435 days. Punk will be stepping back to The Octagon a year and a half later since his UFC debut in September 2016 where he lost to Mickey Gall at UFC 203 via first-round submission.
Punk will be again competing in the Welterweight Division.

Punk’s opponent, Mike Johnson also came up short in his UFC debut against Mickey Gall on his debut in February, 2016.
With Gall having delivered heavy blows to both the UFC 225 contestants (Punk and Johnson) on their debut, losing the second bout would mostly mark the end of their UFC career for either of them.
