The first ever all-women’s pay-per-view is now just days away and it appears that WWE could have kept some surprise returns from their fanbase ahead of the show.

Whilst the likes of Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly, Madusa, Ivory and Michelle McCool have already been announced for the show, there are many other women who could be part of the show in a much smaller role.

Summer Rae was only released from WWE last year after the company seemingly had no creative plans for her.

Rae has since moved on to a career as an actress and model and recently took part in an AMA for the Squared Circle subreddit where she was able to reveal if she had any plans to return to the ring in the future.

“Of course, WWE is a huge part of me & I will never shut that door fully. I would love to still do things in the future if medically I could. Right now it is great to build a new chapter in my life. You are on the road so much when on the main roster that you don’t have time for anything else. But wrestling will always be a huge passion for me. I feel a void not being there.” she said via Ringsidenews.

Rae came through the ranks in NXT alongside the likes of Charlotte and Sasha Banks who are making history this weekend, but it’s obvious that Summer is enjoying her time away from the ring right now and would much prefer to make her return to the ring in a few years time if the occasion arises.

There are already a number of former legends returning this weekend but it appears that the former NXT star will not be on of these women at the Nassau Collesium on Sunday night.
