Former NXT Champion Neville was last seen on WWE TV more than a year ago when he dropped his Cruiserweight Championship to Enzo Amore at No Mercy, and then reportedly left Monday Night Raw when he was informed that he was supposed to lose his match to The Certified G later in the night.
Neville refused to return to the company despite being under contract and then moved back to the United Kingdom and began avoiding calls from WWE. It was recently revealed that after a year of trying to persuade Neville to return to the company, WWE decided to grant him his release.
Neville has since been looking to return to the Independent Circuit but told any promoters who reached out to him that he was unable to commit to a show date at present due to legal reasons.
This was almost a month ago and The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that Neville hasn’t been responding to any promoters recently and now the former Cruiserweight Champion is “off the grid.”
It is unknown as to whether or not Neville has to sit out a certain amount of days before he is allowed to return to the ring outside of WWE or what is meant by the “legal issues” that are preventing him from returning to the Independent circuit but right now Neville isn’t looking to pick up any Independent dates in the near future and is seemingly trying to stay out of the public eye.
Before he joined WWE, Neville was known as Pac on the British Independent Circuit and many fans have been waiting for the Geordie born wrestler to make his return, after more than a year away from the ring, it’s hoped that he will be back in the coming months.
