Former WWE Superstar/ Rosebuds Leader Opens Up On Why He Didn’t Retire, No Way Jose’s Entrance, Possible Return

WSVN-TV reporter Chris Van Vliet recently caught up with former WWE Superstar and leader of the Rosebuds, Adam Rose (a.k.a. Leo Kruger in NXT) backstage at the Wrestling For Warriors event in Fort Pierce, FL.

Here are a few highlights:

On why he didn’t retire at the end of 2017 like he planned to:

“Money. I needed a job, that type of thing. I was all like ‘I’m going to retire, I’m done’ and then when I had no money I realized no, I’m not retiring. I need to wrestle some more.”

On  No Way Jose’s entrance being too much like his:

“It is very similar I’ll say that. Very similar. But hopefully, he does better with it than I did because it’s a great thing and he’s really talented and stuff from what I’ve seen.”

On if he will ever come back to WWE:

“You never know.”

Adam Rose (real name Raymond John Leppan) debuted on WWE’s main roster with The Exotic Express in 2014. On April 11, Rose wrestled his last WWE match on Monday Night RAW against Apollo Crews. Following his second Wellness Policy violation and being charged with domestic violence and tampering with a witness, WWE suspended Rose indefinitely. Rose requested his release from the company and on May 23, 2016, WWE officially announced his release.
